This page is all about the Anime Music Videos, often reffered to by abbreviation AMV.

An AMV is a MusicVideo created by joing scenes from an Anime and an music clip. Some AMVs simply merge the two. More advanced ones can for example time the video so characters' lip movements match the music, or that events seen in video otherwise fit with the rythm. Some AMVs are designed to portray character features or other important things about the anime involved, or they may use video from the anime to tell a completly different story (sometimes aided by the use of custom subtitles).

Curretnly, a popular way of AMV distribution is simply posting them on video upload sites like YouTube.

The purpose of this wiki is gathering (and distributing) the information about various AMVs, AMV creators and community.
